Veronica Mireles is an Albuquerque mom, an attorney, and a New Mexican with deep generational roots in this state. She was shaped here, she built her life here, and she is raising her four children here.
Her story is not one of privilege. Veronica grew up facing hardship and instability, including periods without permanent housing. That experience taught her two things: what it feels like to struggle, and what it feels like when a community shows up for you. Neighbors, mentors, and everyday New Mexicans helped change the trajectory of her life, and that has driven her work ever since.
Today, Veronica is a civil litigation attorney who represents healthcare providers, small businesses, and tradespeople, the people who keep New Mexico's communities running. She has spent nearly two decades standing up for families, holding powerful interests accountable, and fighting to make sure New Mexico's healthcare system actually works for the people who depend on it.
She is running for the New Mexico House because she believes District 30 deserves leadership rooted in real experience and real work. Not speeches. Solutions.
